How We Verify Listings
AtaPata maintains 90,000+ business listings across 8 Pakistani cities. Our verification process includes:
- Phone number verification - all listed phone numbers are cross-referenced against multiple sources
- Address verification - addresses are verified against Google Maps coordinates and public records
- Category accuracy - listings are reviewed to ensure they are placed in the correct category and subcategory
- Claimed listings - businesses that claim their listing go through an additional verification step before receiving a Verified badge
- Ongoing monitoring - we actively monitor listings for accuracy and remove or update listings that are closed, relocated or have changed their services
Data Sources
AtaPata's listing database is built from the following sources:
- Google Maps - public business data including name, address, phone, category and hours
- DataForSEO - verified business data API
- Marham.pk - doctor profiles and hospital affiliations
- Direct submissions - businesses that claim and verify their own listings
- Development authority records - CDA, LDA and other official sources for housing societies and real estate data
