When to visit: Antenatal checkups during pregnancy, delivery, post-delivery care, gynecological issues.

Children's Hospital — Pediatric Hospital

A Children's Hospital — also called a bacho ka hospital — specialises exclusively in the healthcare of infants, children, and teenagers. They have pediatric emergency departments, neonatal intensive care units (NICU), and child-specific surgical facilities. The Children's Hospital Lahore is one of the largest dedicated pediatric hospitals in South Asia.

When to visit: Any serious health concern for a child, pediatric emergencies, complex childhood illnesses.

Eye Hospital

An Eye Hospital specialises exclusively in conditions affecting the eyes. They have ophthalmology departments, operation theatres for eye surgery, and optical units. Common procedures include cataract surgery, glaucoma treatment, and laser eye surgery. The Mayo Hospital Eye Department and Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT) are well-known eye hospitals in Pakistan.

Cardiac Hospital — Heart Hospital

Cancer Hospital — Oncology Centre

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital in Lahore and Karachi is Pakistan's most well-known cancer hospital, providing free treatment to deserving patients.

Psychiatric Hospital — Mental Health Hospital

Dialysis Centre

A Dialysis Centre provides kidney dialysis treatment for patients with chronic kidney disease or kidney failure. Many patients visit dialysis centres three times a week for treatment. Both government and private dialysis centres operate across Pakistan.

When to visit: Chronic kidney disease requiring dialysis, kidney failure management.

Burn Centre

A Burn Centre specialises in the treatment of burn injuries and wound care. They have specialised burn units, plastic surgery facilities, and skin grafting capabilities. The Sheikh Zayed Hospital Burn Centre in Lahore is one of Pakistan's most prominent burn treatment facilities.

Neurology Centre
